Each year the girls participate in a service project. This year’s event touched close to home with one of our own. The RHS girls’ tennis team has dedicated the 2010 tennis season to Darryl Mason, who lost his fight to cancer earlier this summer. The teams’ service project will benefit The Huntsman Cancer Institute in the name of Darryl Mason. Each Wednesday night the girls hold a team dinner to socialize and make beanies that will be donated at the end of the year to cancer patients at The Huntsman Cancer Institute. I am very grateful and humble that the girls would take it upon themselves to choose this project for Mr. Mason.
